Misleading Ways to Make Money Online – Personal Reflections – Part I / III

I am still testing and filling some online surveys, reading emails and clicking links. Unfortunately, the results have been dismal.

Surveys appear to be one of the biggest cheaters. There are thousands of websites on the net which are promising regular income from online surveys. Sadly this is all farce. I tried so many websites, but most of them turned out to be false promises.

Many of them will ask you a series of questions and disqualify you. Some have confusing points system. They will award you points for filling surveys. It is hard to make out what those points mean.

Others will enter your name in a draw or sweepstakes for a cash prize or something else. I assure you that you will never win anything from them.

Some paid survey sites are just front runners for other survey websites and they will want you to join them or buy their memberships.

One has to pay membership fees to some survey websites. Payment will range from one time to monthly subscriptions. These are obviously fake sites.

There are so many people selling information regarding so called “genuine” web surveys. This is all bogus.

I became a member of many Internet survey sites with a unique email address. I tried only those sites which had highest recommendations. I still fill out online surveys. I have a little credit at many places. But they won’t pay me because that does not equal their payout limit.

I believe that these get paid for online survey sites pay to a few people in order to keep the hype alive. But generally they are not sincere.

Only thing is that they get your name, email and postal addresses, date of birth, your preferences and interests etc. and build their data base. Then they sell this information. They will also try to sell you other products.

After joining these Internet survey sites, I am now receiving tones of spam. Obviously they have spread my email address throughout the Internet. I get hundreds of offers and ads everyday.

The net result is that I wasted a lot of time on these paid online surveys and never got a penny. I have no hope that they will pay me ever.

My best advice to everyone will be not to even think of filling surveys unless you get cash right away after filling each web survey and which justly compensates for your time.
